Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Measured Dog collects when you use measureddog.com or buy from us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Measured Dog is a brand of Refoamed sp. z o.o., Pasaż Ursynowski 11/78, 02-784 Warsaw, Poland, which is the controller of your data. Contact: hello@refoamed.com.

1. What we collect

  • Order information — name, shipping and billing address, email, phone, the products you buy, and the dog weight and daily dose you select (so we know what you ordered and can support you).
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processors (Shopify Payments, PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Account and subscription information — login details, subscription schedule, delivery history.
  • Communications — emails you send us, reviews you submit, survey answers.
  • Device and usage information — IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).

2. How we use it

  • To process, ship and support your orders and subscriptions, including renewal reminders.
  • To send order and account emails (confirmations, shipping, renewal notices). These are not marketing and you cannot opt out of them while you have an active order or subscription.
  • To send marketing emails or texts only if you opted in. Every message has an unsubscribe link; texts can be stopped by replying STOP.
  • To improve the Site and our products, including analysing which pages and features are used.
  • To measure and run advertising (see section 6).
  • To detect fraud, enforce our Terms and meet legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers who need it to do their job for us:

  • Shopify — hosts our store, processes orders and payments, runs our subscriptions.
  • Payment processors — Shopify Payments (Stripe), PayPal.
  • Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners — to deliver your order.
  • Email and SMS providers — to send the messages described above.
  • Analytics and advertising platforms — such as Google and Meta, which may receive usage and hashed contact data through cookies and pixels to measure and target ads. Under California law this sharing may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; you can opt out as described in section 7.
  • Authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights.

4. International transfers

We are based in Poland and our providers operate in the United States and the EU. Your information may be processed in either. We use standard contractual safeguards where required.

5. How long we keep it

Order and payment records: as long as required for tax and accounting law (generally 6 years). Account data: while your account is active and for 2 years after. Marketing data: until you unsubscribe. Analytics data: up to 26 months.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and pixels for three purposes: to make the Site work (cart, login, checkout — always on), to understand how the Site is used (analytics), and to measure and target advertising. You can manage non-essential cookies through the cookie banner on the Site, your browser settings, or the opt-out links below. Google: adssettings.google.com. Meta: facebook.com/adpreferences.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to access it, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, and opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale”/“sharing” of your information. To exercise any of these, email hello@refoamed.com or use the Your Privacy Choices page. We will respond within 45 days and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): in the last 12 months we have collected the categories listed in section 1 and disclosed them to the categories of recipients in section 3. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. You can appoint an authorized agent to make a request for you.

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws have similar rights, exercised the same way. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

8. Children

The Site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Payments are encrypted and processed by PCI-compliant providers. Access to customer data inside our company is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be announced on the Site or by email.
