Formulated by veterinarians. Reviewed before launch.
Measured Dog formulas are written by a team of veterinarians and animal nutritionists inside a veterinary family company, produced in certified laboratories, and reviewed ingredient by ingredient before they go on sale. Below: how that works, and the practitioners who checked our numbers.
Every ingredient has to answer four questions
Is there canine research?
We start from studies in dogs, not in people or rats. Each ingredient on our pages links to the research behind it - 22 studies across the four formulas.
How much did the research use?
The dose in the jar is set against the doses that were actually studied, then scaled to body weight - one measure per weight band, printed on the label.
When should an owner expect what?
Each formula separates what acts in the first ten days from what takes ninety. Both windows are printed, so nobody quits in week two.
Does a practitioner agree?
Before launch, practising veterinarians review the ingredient panel, the per-serving figures and the two-stage structure - and tell us where we are wrong.
